Cycle paths in South Tyrol

The Vinschgau cycle path

Vinschgau is one of the most beautiful cycling in South Tyrol, especially during the spring, when flowering the fruit trees, which turned the valley into a sea of fragrant white flowers.

The path is very simple, fitted with signs.

The trail starts from Meran and continues to Algund  through Tel, Parcines until Glurns along the Adige river, through beautiful woods and meadows.

Continuing on the road to Malles can be reached Resia, from Glurns.

You can also take the train of Vinschgau au to Malles and then reverse the path towards Meran. For transporting cycling by train you pay a supplement, or you may decide to rent a bike directly at the station.
One characteristic of Vinschgau is the strong wind, so be careful!

For those who love good food and good wine: from Algund, continuing to Castel Forest and Marling, you can also reach Lana, from which you can continue along the Wine Route.
