Cycling around Mt. Langkofel

Mt. Langkofel is one of the most amazing massifs in the Dolomites area in South Tyrol. A possibility to see the massif in his full majesty is to circle it on the mountain bike.

The mountain bike tour starts in Kompatsch, which is situated in the proximity of the famous Seiser Alm alpine pasture. There we take the paths to Mahlknecht- and Dialer Refuge.

Arrived there we cycle to the Duron-pass and from there we ride down to Campitello village, located in Trentino region. From Campitello we go on to Canazei and crossing the Sella-pass we come again into South Tyrol region. After some bends we follow the markers to Comici Refuge where we take a break for some time.

After the break with some good food we cycle on path 526 down to valley and arrived at Hotel Salaria we take the road to Salten-Seiser Alm to get back to our starting point Kompatsch.
