Cycling around Mt. Kronplatz

Starting point of the cycling tour is the village Reischach, situated near Bruneck in Pustertal Valley. From there we pedal to Stefansdorf and Moos on the small path 1 to Maria Saalen, where you absolutely have to visit the ancient church.

Than we take the asphalted panorama road to Enneberg and enjoy the view over Mt. Peitlerkofel and over Mt. Kreuzkofel massif. The track from Enneberg to the peak of Mt. Kronplatz isn’t long, but very steep. A climb of 1000 m is to be made. First of all we come to the hamlet Cianoré, than to Biei Daete, where path 2 begins which brings you to Col de Frades and finally to the peak of Mt. Kronplatz 2272 m).

We continue the tour cycling down on the southern side to Geiselsberg and Olang. We take the road to Niederolang and on a good country lane we come back to Reischach.
