Discovering the Prags-Dolomites

Prags builds together with Fanes and Sennes a nature park in the heart of the Dolomites.

Prags is similar to a wonderland, high and rocky mountains, lovely mountain pastures and no cars which disturb the silence. To explore Prags and surroundings, we recommend a mountain bike tour.

We start the tour in Niederdorf in Pustertal Valley and taking path 27 in Eastern direction we reach Toblach. We take the cycling lane to Höhlenstein Valley and pass by Toblachersee Lake and Dürrensee Lake. Arrived in Schluderbach we take the forest track 3 which leads us to the amazing Plätzwiese mountain pasture. A really breathtaking view over the Prags-mountains we get cycling to Mt. Strudelkopf, we reach it in half an hour.

After we have shot a lot of photos we turn back to Plätzwiese alpine pasture and taking path 37 we ride down to Brüggele Inn, where we take the main road bake to Pustertal Valley and to Niederdorf.
