Freeride tours in Bozen

Freeride tour Jenesien

Flowy are the freeride trails, which aren’t very steep or difficult and which haven’t many hairpin bends. The best example for such a flowy trail is the Jenesien-trail near Bozen in Southern South Tyrol.

The trail, about we are talking, is called the "slaughterer". But don’t worry: the trail isn’t as difficult as it seems. To reach the trail you have to take the cable car, which starts in the city area of Bozen.

Arrived at the summit station you pedal 500 m in direction of Jensien. There you come to a big parking place where you have to follow path 2 on the right. After you have cross a meadow you have to pedal some meters in an asphalted road. But soon the trail begins on the left side, which leads you over wild bends to Rafenstein. From there a small country lane brings you back to the valley station.

The valley station of Jenesien-cable car is situated in Road Reifensteingasse 15 in Bozen. The cable car operates every half an hour from 9 am to 6 pm.
