Ochsenlenke mountain bike tour

This tour is really a very good tour, from Steinhaus until Ochsenlenke through Knuttenalm and Ahornach offers a beautiful view over Tauferer Ahrntal Valleys

The tour is very technical and challenging, suitable for those who have some' practice of mountain biking.

The tour starts at Steinhaus. Here follow the main road toward Prettau, turn right toward Hasental and takes a steep forest road. Continues to Hasentalalm and turn left at the fork to Ochsenlenke.

The road is wide and slightly uphill. Once on the crest of Ochsenlenke, we follow a trail to a beautiful refuge Brunner on the path of a forest road towards Klammljoch. It follows then Knuttenalm until Rein. After the church held the right and continue for a forest road towards Ahornach (marked trail 8).
For Ahornach take the road to Aschbach and return to Sand in Taufers.
